The lawned garden is an ideal place for children to play and for adults to relax and unwind. What could be more like your own bit of heaven than to sit out on a clear balmy summer evening and hear the birds sing and see the stars away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our 177 acre livestock and arable farm set amid beautiful rolling Devon countryside is bordered by the river Dalch and home to a wide variety of animals, birds and flowers. We are one mile from the picturesque village of Morchard Bishop in the heart of Devon midway between the two great moors of Dartmoor and Exmoor. There is a wealth of footpaths around the village and the famous Two Moors Way passes through the village. A supply of laminated maps of local walks are available in the cottage. We are in an ideal central position for touring and exploring with fishing, horse riding, golf, cycling and swimming being available nearby. Local information and leaflets are left in the cottage to help you plan and enjoy your holiday and I have a supply of maps of Devon for your use. Visitors Comments;- We have enjoyed our stay at Rudge Rew Cottage. The cottage was lovely - really spacious and warm. Perfect! (Winter Holiday) Cottage spacious and very clean.
