Perhaps visit one of the lovely picturesque thatched villages, where time has stood still (or just gives that appearance). Walk along country lanes and see all the flora and fauna. Go to the coast and perhaps join the fisherman on their boats to catch mackeral and other local treats. There is an amazing amount of local foods produced in this area and are all available for you to buy. However you choose to spend your time in east devon you can be sure there will not be a dull moment, and it may be necessary for a return trip to see the things that you did not find time for!!
