Relax in idyllic rural setting yet close to the Jurassic Coast between Lyme Regis and Sidmouth. Smallicombe is a family run working farm with a wealth of local knowledge.
At Smallicombe we offer not only a unique place to stay but an authentic farm experience in a relaxing atmosphere. You can chill out in the hot tub while the children enjoy the play area and afterwards cook up a feast in our covered outdoor kitchen, with BBQ and Pizza oven. Unwind on the decking with a glass of something cold. The accommodation all enjoy stunning views down the valley. If you can tear yourself away from the farm we are only a stone’s throw from the the Jurassic coast or Dartmoor and for a cultural and shopping experience, the cathedral city of Exeter is only 30 mins.
Smallicombe Farm is a small working farm with four award winning self-catering barns. We have an established prize winning herd of rare breed pigs their cute piglets, a flock of sheep and Ruby Devon cattle. The eggs come from our free range, chickens, ducks and turkeys and you will be able to enjoy our rare breed pork sausages and bacon when you order a Smallicombe Farmhouse Breakfast platter which will be delivered to your accommodation. You will be able to roam through the farms pastures and ancient woodland abounding with wildlife or visit nearby Jurassic Coast. In the evening you can snuggle up around the Fire Pit or in the Hot Tub and marvel at the stars that can be seen in our dark sky, listen out for the owls or spot the bats in flight.
The Granary is a ground floor 2 bedroom barn, double and triple room, with patio doors opening up onto a large lawn overlooking the stunning valley. It has wheelchair access and can sleep up to five guests.
The Cider Barrel is a 2 storey conversion with a double, king/twin and twin room. Again with large patio doors opening up onto a lawn area sleeping up to six guests.
The Hayloft is a Gold award winning pent house with a king/twin room roll top bath and stunning view. This is adult only.
The Inglenook is a cosy ground floor 1 bedroom wing of the main farmhouse with a large traditional inglenook fireplace in the lounge. There is one bedroom with a twin/superking bed and space for a cot or a Z bed. There is a bed settee in the sitting room. It can sleep a maximum of four quests.

The Inglenook is a Gold Award winning one bedroom cottage that forms part of the ground floor of the original farmhouse. It has a traditional cosy feel with its huge inglenook fireplace and wood-burning stove. There is a super-king/twin bed room with en-suite family bathroom. The large lounge, with log fire has two sofas, one a sofa bed, flat screen TV, DVD player and free Wi-Fi. The cottage is all on one level apart from one step into the kitchen and is suitable for people with limited mobility or ideal for toddlers. Why not sit back, relax and order a freshly cooked breakfast platter, or help feed the rare breed pigs and explore using the farm trails. It also has full central heating.

There is also a large family bathroom, separate power shower and toilet upstairs and a separate cloakroom and toilet downstairs. It has a large open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen downstairs with patio doors opening up onto a large lawn with spectacular views down the unspoiled valley. There is fully controlled central heating, from our wood chip boiler, throughout the cottage and a newly fitted log burning stove for that additional cosy feel. There is a large flat screen TV & Freeview, DVD player and a wooden dolls house and ELC farm for the kids plus free Wi-Fi
