Children can enjoy the play area in our orchard where sheep and lambs graze under the the cider apple trees. Guests are welcome to help us harvest apples and help with cider/juice making in the autumn. Cider is provided for our guests (when available). Children are welcome to feed the hens and collect eggs.”
We are a small, family friendly, farm located in a quiet village close to the sea. Beeson is in close proximity to the small coastal towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe in the far south of Devon. We are surrounded by stunning scenery (in a AONB), beautiful unspoilt beaches and in easy access of the SW coastpath, ideal for walkers. Beeson Farm is less than a mile from Beesands beach which is a traditional fishing village with a pub, shop/seafood cafe and playground.
Our 5 award winning,cosy barn conversions (1 x 3 bedroom and 4 x 2 bedroom) are all AA 4 Stars, fully equipped to a very high standard with ensuites throughout (including some downstairs bedrooms with wetrooms for the less mobile). There is free wifi and good mobile reception. In the Autumn we offer cider and apple juice making. For children we have fenced wildlife ponds (where we offer supervised pond dipping during the school holidays), a play area in the orchard and table tennis room. Children can also collect eggs and pet the guinea pigs.
There is a choice of dog welcome and pet & feather free cottages. Some of our cottages are wheelchair accessible.
We are an ideal base for exploring the coast or indulging in surfing, diving, kayaking, fishing and swimming. Explore the nearby NT houses & gardens,the historic towns of Dartmouth, Salcombe, Kingsbridge,Totnes and Plymouth, the South Devon steam railway, golf, the National Aquarium or the Rare Breeds Farm.
