Farm No 28: Combas Farm

Putsborough, Croyde, N.Devon. EX33 1PH
On its own in a wonderfully secluded valley, Combas is a 150 acre family run stock farm. Wisteria and a grape vine ramble over this 17th century farmhouse, the garden is delightful and the views unspoiled - truly an oasis of calm in a busy world. Forget your bottled water, we have our own spring but bring your wellies!

Our location is unique being close to Croyde and Georgeham villages, blue flag beaches and coastal paths. The view from the top of our hill is stunning, the sunsets spectacular and on fine nights one can count the stars (no light pollution).

North Devon is one of only three places left in England designated an “area of tranquillity” a true description as visitors to the area will agree as they explore the countryside, coves and beaches or just sit in our garden with a pot of tea – bring your binoculars and watch the foxes on the hillside, the buzzards hovering over the valley and see how many birds you can identify.

Feeling energetic? Try walking the coast path, the scenery is fantastic or surfing the Atlantic rollers. There are stables and tennis courts in Croyde, cycle routes and golf courses within a few miles. A pony trek on Exmoor is another option.

For relaxation try one of the many pubs, cafes and restaurants close by – 5 minutes to a pint down our farm track!

On arrival guests are greeted with a smile and a pot of tea. Many repeat bookings confirm we have something special to offer you.
