Our 177 acre livestock and arable farm set amid beautiful rolling Devon countryside is bordered by the river Dalch and home to a wide variety of animals, birds and flowers. We are one mile from the picturesque village of Morchard Bishop in the heart of Devon midway between the two great moors of Dartmoor and Exmoor. There are over 40 footpaths around the village,the nearest being 100yards from the cottage and the famous Two Moors Way passes through the village. A supply of laminated maps of local walks are available in the cottage. Bus stop in the village (1 mile) Train station Morchard Road (2.5 miles). We are in an ideal central position for touring and exploring with fishing (2.5 miles), golf (3.5 miles), horse riding (8 miles), cycling (cycle hire 8 miles) and swimming (4 or 8 miles) being available nearby. Local information and leaflets are left in the cottage to help you plan and enjoy your holiday and I have a supply of maps of Devon for your use.
