Who can participate?

To join Devon Farms you must offer holiday accommodation on a farm with a source of income from agriculture. The accommodation can be anything from campsites and caravans, and glamping and bunkhouses, to the more familiar Bed & Breakfast and self-catering cottages and apartments.

Formal Inspection and Grading, eg by Quality in Tourism or the AA, is no longer a mandatory requirement for joining Devon Farms. However, should you wish to have that extra qualification (as many of our members do) then your Grading will be included in your entry in the website and brochure.

When can I join?

The membership year runs from April - April but you can join Devon Farms at any time of the year (subject to meeting the joining criteria).

If you join partway through the year then, for immediate entry onto the Devon Farm's website and to take advantage of the referral scheme and the other benefits that Devon Farms has to offer, you are required to pay a pro rata membership fee for the remaining months left in the membership year.  ie  if you have one self catering cottage and join in November, your membership fee would be £300 ÷ 12 months x 5 remaining months = £125

The brochure is produced annually in November. In order to be included you are required to be a full member before the end of April in the same year.
