Walk the South West Coast path, swim in the sea pool, stroll along the historic canal - Bude is worth a visit when in Devon.
The seaside town of Bude offers much to see and do from a gentle stroll along the historic Bude Canal to a more challenging walk along the South West Coast Path. You can take a dip in the Bude Sea Pool or try your hand at surfing or kayaking and canoeing. Or perhaps just lying around on the beach is more your style. Geoglastica (guided walks around the area while finding out about the geology) and Segway rides can also be arranged.
There are many varied and excellent places to eat. Some of the craft shops offer courses to visitors too, so there's always something useful to do on a rainy day.
A cream tea greets your arrival at Forda. We are a working farm with sheep, beef, 6 cats and 3 sheepdogs. Close to the Devon and Cornwall border, we are in the perfect place to explore both counties.
