This walk starts from Beer and it is best to park in the village and walk up to the path on the road past the row of cottages looking out to sea. Bear left to the path across to the fields and walk up over the wonderful cliffs looking back to Lyme Bay. Walk towards Branscombe, looking across to Sidmouth and beyond. There are great views out to sea and an abundance of wildflowers and wildlife to see along the way.
When you reach the beautiful beach at Branscombe, food can be had at the Sea Shanty.
If you prefer to do the walk the other way round, park in the village of Branscombe and walk down the footpath, following the stream towards the beach is a lovely gentle stroll. Walk there and back and get food and drink or swim on the way.
