In Ottery Saint Mary, men and women run with flaming tar barrels on their backs through the streets. There’s mulled wine, candy floss and other late night treats available.

Plymouth Hoe will be lit up with a spectacular Bonfire and Fireworks display on the 5th of November. The evening celebrations include fairground rides and delicious food and drink on offer, plus near to Smeaton’s Tower lighthouse, you'll find the huge bonfire with a traditional Guy Fawkes sitting on top!

With a spectacular firework display to music, bars and barbecues, mini kids’ rides and a family disco, Exeter Golf and Country Club's Bonfire evening is one of Exeter’s not-to-be-missed highlights of the autumn.

Devon's varied landscape allows for a huge variety of spellbinding Bonfire Night celebrations and it is always worth checking in with the farm you are staying with to see what local events they would recommend. Grab your woolly hat and a toffee apple and watch the Devon skies light up for the 5th November.
